Continuing Education

John Benson, the Corporate Service Manager, completed the second session of training for one of Rebel's loyal customers, SDA Securities. Wednesday's training was held in El Cajon, and surpassed the number of attendance from the initial session. This is a welcome bit of news, as this means that the company and its employees see value in conducting these training sessions. As is the norm, everyone who attended received a certificate of completion in recognition to their participation to the training program.

There will be one final session scheduled for next week, again in El Cajon. Joe Negrette has been very supportive of this customer; it makes clear sense why they have pledged so much loyalty to Rebel. Likewise, Mike Brown and John Benson have eagerly accommodated and endorsed Joe's directives.

Rebel thanks you for your steadfastness in our quest to provide the best support to our customers. Teamwork is what makes our jobs easier and makes Rebel's customer service the one to beat.

Training to Demonstrate

Rebel has always believed in maintaining and strengthening bonds with everyone it does business with, vendors and customers alike. Providing training on product and equipment operation and safety is one of the most effective ways in which we can demonstrate to our customers our dedication to their success. This is something that Rebel has willingly done for customers throughout the years, and will continue to do so. This practice has become sort of a standard for Rebel.

Joe Negrette, our Territory Sales Manager from El Cajon, is keen on not disappointing his customers. He has arranged a series of three training sessions for one of his most loyal customers, SDA Security Services. SDA covers both Riverside and San Diego counties. Yesterday, they conducted the first session in Mira Loma. Scott Miller, Team Leader of Mira Loma, coordinated the training at his location, providing morning sustenance of coffee and donuts. Mike Holmes, the branch's Service Manager, conducted the training supported by John Benson, the Corporate Service Manager.

Two more sessions are scheduled within the next two weeks and will be happening at the El Cajon branch.

We thank Joe Negrette, Scott Miller, Mike Holmes, and John Benson for their cooperative efforts in making sure our commitment to our customers are met. Rebel Rents' customer satisfaction is our number one priority!

Excellent job!

Never Too Late To Appreciate

Mike Brown, our Team Leader from El Cajon and the former Santee location, recently received a letter of appreciation from the San Diego Sheriff's Department expressing their appreciation for his contribution during the wildfires of 2007.

Mike allowed them to use the then vacant Santee lot as their main headquarters for dispatch during the disaster, bringing in a light tower for use in the evening hours as needed. As we all remember, those were trying times for everyone that was affected by the fires as well as all the city departments responsible for keeping residents safe and out of harms way.

Thank you, Mike, for your generosity. It just goes to show that Rebel is full of caring people, willing to do what it takes to help the community it serves.

Rental Industry Travels to Washington

Recently, a group of more than 80 American Rental Association (ARA) members from 32 states participated in the association's annual National Legislative Caucus in Washington, DC. Doug Fleury from Rebel's corporate office was part of the California committee representing the political concerns of the rental industry to their U.S. Senators and Representatives.
The focus of this year's ARA Legislative agenda includes affordable, small business health care insurance, estate taxes and the H-2B visa program. John McClelland, ARA's Vice President for government affairs, complimented this year's attendees for being very well prepared for their meetings; doing their homework on the issues being raised at this caucus.
Doug's schedule was a hectic one, to be sure. He met with eight Congressman/Congresswoman and/or their Legislative Assistants or Directors on Capitol Hill during the three days of caucus. However busy, leave it to Doug to still manage to visit many of the nation's capital's historic sites.
Once again, Rebel is proud to have Doug Fleury representing Rebel's and many other rental companies' concerns at the big house. Let us be heard!!
