Rebel Is Clean & Green

Congratulations to our Santa Ana store and its team. They recently were inspected by the County of Orange, Health Care Agency, Environmental Health and passed with flying colors! It is not surprising, as Rebel as a whole works very hard at maintaining its facilities and making sure they are all operating within the standards set by the various governmental agencies. Passing the inspection at the initial visit confirms that we are on the right path.

Way to show your Rebel Pride, SANTA ANA!

Successful Mission

Tom Gilroy from the San Jacinto store is the big winner of our MISSING IN ACTION CONTEST. He generated the most sales from customers who have otherwise been inactive this year.

He will receive an overnight getaway, dinner for two at a local casino of his choice, and will be inducted to the Rebel Eagles Club. He will also receive a plaque of recognition for his successful finish of this contest.

Greg Eubanks of El Cajon came in 2nd, and Peggy Megrdichian of Santa Ana finished 3rd. Although they don’t take home the top prize, they each will get 25 points towards the Rebel Rewards Zone.

CONGRATULATIONS to you! Thank you for your participation in the contest. Keep up the good work.

Reward Watch

We would like to congratulate JR Torres, Territory Manager from our Temecula stores. JR has only been with us since March, and he's already reaping the fruits of his labor. He will be watching his favorite shows from his new 27" TV, the reward he opted for in redeeming his Rebel Rewards Zone Points.

Congratulations, JR! Keep up the good work!

Delivering Service Equal to None

Greg Eubanks, Territory Manager for our El Cajon store, recently received a Certificate of Appreciation from General Dynamics Land Systems, a contractor for the military who has partnered with Selrico Services for their operations at the 10th Avenue Terminal port in San Diego. Selrico is a new customer to Rebel, and was the liason between the contractor and Rebel; managing the project and communicating the contractor's rental needs to us. Both companies were very impressed by the excellent customer service and support they received from Greg during their project.

While this kind of support is customary to Rebel Rents' standards, it is always good when customers acknowledge our hardwork. A well-deserved CONGRATULATIONS to GREG EUBANKS for a job well done, and a hearty THANK YOU to SELRICO SERVICES for your business and recognition of Rebel's significant presence during the completion of your job.

Quest to Be the Best!

Rebel's How Am I Driving Program continues to give us surprising, but definitely welcome, results. We have been getting more and more complimentary calls from our fellow motorists out there; and we absolutely welcome those calls.

The most recent one who got such a call was Scott Von Veghel, a Service Mechanic from our Escondido store. Scott was on his way back to the store from answering a field service call when another motorist noticed his well-mannered driving skills.

WAY TO GO, SCOTT! That's a great way to show off your REBEL PRIDE!

Thank you and keep up the good work!

El Cajon Shines

It was another beautiful day in San Diego. An unexpected high-80 degree weather graced us during our El Cajon Open House/Customer Appreciation Day event yesterday. It was a perfect setting for an outdoor barbecue, which is exactly what we had.

Not only did the weather cooperate with our intentions of showing our customers a great time, many of our vendors showed up as well. Vendors like MULTIQUIP, TT TECHNOLOGIES, BIL-JAX, DITCH WITCH, HAMMERCO, DIRECT EDGE, BOSCH, among others, participated in the day's event, displaying some of their equipment and answering questions from customers who visited with them. Our customers were delighted by the opportunity to have their inquiries directly addressed by the equipment manufacturers' representatives. It is indeed a rare occasion for many, and Rebel is only too willing to provide. We thank our vendors for continuing to partner with us on these ventures.

Among the many customers who attended were Sel Rico Services, Casper Company, Cement Cutting, Shadow Mountain Community, Protection One, and Jon Del Construction. Thank you for joining us and for your continued business with us. We hope you enjoyed the day, which was held specifically for that purpose.

Mike Brown, the store's Team Leader, along with Greg Eubanks, Joe Negrette, and the dedicated team of El Cajon, worked hard to make this event a success. Supported by the team from Rebel's Corporate, headed by Doug Fleury, the day went smoothly.

Thank you all for the hard work you put in. Another successful Customer Appreciation Day for Rebel.

Training Partners

Rebel Rents always supports expanding basic know-how. Recently, we were asked by one of our valued customers to review the basic operation of equipment they rent from us consistently; the John Deere 210 Skip Loader and the Ditch Witch RT-40 riding trencher. Of course, we obliged willingly.

Training took place at our Temecula Training Facility today, conducted by our Corporate Service Manager, John Benson. With the assistance of Temecula's Territory Manager, JR Torres, they accommodated a crew of 12 from Environmental Concepts Landscaping Management, lead by Luis Villasenor.

The training covered the basic operations as well as on the job preventative maintenance including cleaning, fueling and lubrication. Luis of Environmental Concepts felt this training would go along way in keeping his crew safe. It will also benefit their company by way of preventing unnecessary service calls and downtime due to improper use and care of the equipment.

Those who participated in today's training will receive a certificate of completion from Rebel.

As always, Rebel is happy to provide the support of training our customers and their employees on the safest and most efficient ways to use the equipment they rent from us. It is our commitment to all of our customers.

Rebel is gearing up for another upcoming Customer Appreciation Day; this time it will be held at our El Cajon branch. The event is on Wednesday, November 14th, from 11 am to 2 pm.

In preparation, and to make sure that the local community is made aware of the event, the Rebel Sales Force were out for two days, in support of Mike Brown and his team, visiting businesses in the area. The Sales Blitz were held Tuesday and Thursday, making over 300 visits within the surrounding communities.

The Customer Appreciation Day has always been Rebel's way of thanking our local customers for their support. We hope that you come and join us for this day of celebration. At El Cajon, it is also their shining moment, as they have just gone through major renovation for that location; a process that required a lot of sacrifice from the El Cajon team. We want to show off their new and improved look. You'll be impressed, to be sure.

So, don't forget! Come out and join us for a few hours of fun in the sun at our Customer Appreciation Day in El Cajon on Wednesday, November 14th from 11 am to 2 pm. Hope to see you there!

A special THANKS to all the Territory Sales Managers for taking time away from their busy schedules to come out and support our El Cajon Team. You are the greatest!

More Bright Ideas

The next wave of bright ideas have been put in place. Our team members have really tuned in to this Cost Savings Program. We are continuing to receive suggestions from teammates company-wide. Nothing tells us better of their commitment and dedication to the Rebel team than taking the time to pen down their thoughts on how we can improve our company.

These latest ones were from Mike White (No. Temecula), Robert Levesque, his 2nd brilliant idead (So. Temecula), and Brett Guigneaux (Corporate). Thank you, Gentlemen, for supporting our cause and showing your spirit and REBEL PRIDE.

Let's keep our momentum going!!!
