Meeting with a BANG!

Last week, TNT Fireworks held their annual regional meeting at the Girls and Boys Club in Newport Beach. Rebel Rents provided the lunch for the event as a token of appreciation for their continued business with us. TNT has been a loyal Rebel customer for the past four years; lighting up and generating power for over sixty of their firework stands.

Chris Dalsimer, and Peggy Mergdichian, Team Leader and Territory Sales Manager from Santa Ana, respectively, attended the event. Peggy personally handled the catering arrangements, making sure there was sufficient food for everyone. As always, she did a great job! During the meeting, they were both introduced to all the TNT colleagues in attendance.
TNT was very appreciative of Rebel's participation in their event. Likewise, Rebel was honored to have been part of it.

Expanding our Opportunities

Rebel introduces a new product to our rental line from Edco: the 5-Head Scabbler, model CD-5 can remove up to 250 sq ft per hour at depth per pass of 1/4". This unit is equipped with a In-line lubricator (oiler) and a WHIPCEK Safety Cable. It also comes standard with a vacuum port for Dust-Free scabbler operation.
As the competition gets tougher, Rebel keeps ahead of the game by offering advanced products that we know our customers seek out. This product is actually picked up due to a request one of Rebel's valuable customers made.
As is our goal, we thrive hard to keep our customers satisfied.

Rick Knepper scores once more on the Rebel Rewards Zone Program! Opting for the high tech and keeping within his main interest, he chose the high quality digital MiniDV camcorder from Canon.
The Canon ZR850 comes in an exceptionally compact camcorder body, with 2.7" widescreen LCD, 35x optical and 1000x digital zoom. This camcorder doubles as a digital camera; you can capture a digital photograph while simultaneously recording video. It has so many great features that there could be no doubt Rick will be enjoying this new toy.
Again, it is great to see our Territory Sales Managers enjoy the fruit of their labors.

Rebel has started a program that seeks to make a difference; not only to your attitude before and after stepping on that scale, but your overall health.
Partnered with Aetna, this program evaluates your health history and makes suggestions on what you can do to avoid certain pitfalls. It is all done online. All you have to do is answer some questions.
To date, we have had a great response and congratulate those individuals who have participated and completed the first part of this program, the Health Risk Assessment. They will receive their cash award and automatically get entered into the Lucky 7 Raffle.

We've Got Mail

This is exciting! Not only are our phones ringing because of good driving reports, we're also getting emails!
Ted Woodmas, a transportation specialist out of our Santa Ana location, was complimented by a fellow motorist for being "the only courteous driver" on the road Wednesday morning. He was traveling along on the Northbound side of the 405 FWY during the morning rush hour and allowed a vehicle into the lane when no other would. Chris Dalsimer, the team leader in Santa Ana, is quite proud of Ted; he is presenting Ted with a gold star.
We can never get enough of these types of recognition. We thank our team members for continuing to do a great job while out there on the road. Keep it up, team!

It is certainly a breath of fresh air when our phone lines ring because people are calling in to tell us their pleasant experience sharing the road with our conscientious drivers. Recently, we received a call from a motorist complimenting John Benson, our Corporate Service Manager, on his driving skills.
When the How Am I Driving program was implemented, we had in mind the safety of our drivers as well as the other people on the road with them. After being in place for a couple of years now, we feel the program has made a big difference in many aspects: it makes our drivers pay more careful attention to the road, and it keeps our insurance carrier happy, among other things.
