Supporting the Troops the Rebel Way!
A couple of weeks ago, Rebel Rents received a call from Mr. Steve Hallaway who was coordinating the move of Operation DVD, an organization originally founded in Kansas and is now moving its operations in Temecula. The Temecula Valley Young Marines are taking over the operations after a year of working with its original leadership, making sure that the efforts continue. Operation DVD is a nonprofit organization aimed at getting movies and music CDs to troops deployed oversees. They are responsible for providing "our troops the safest form of entertainment for their situation, especially those in Iraq or Iran."
Mr. Hallaway, who was referred to Rebel by the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, spoke to other rental companies seeking assistance in moving the shipment of over 80,000 DVD's donated by Time-Life Inc. before speaking with us. He chose to work with Rebel after a lengthy conversation with one of our knowledgeable staff members. The staff member asked all the right questions to make Mr. Hallaway feel confident their job will be done in the best and most efficient way possible. Rebel donated a 5000lb pneumatic forklift along with a pallet jack to get their job done and didn't fail Mr. Hallaway's expectations.
Rebel is happy to play a role in supporting our troops while they are away in dangerous grounds.
