Customer Appreciation Day Heads to Santa Ana

Rebel Rents, once again, is slating to celebrate its customers by holding another Customer Appreciation Day. This time, Rebel is holding it at its Santa Ana location, on Friday, March 23rd. This will be the first time Customer Appreciation Day is being held in that location. As usual, Rebel will be inviting its vendors to come out and participate, encouraging them to showcase their products and equipment to all our customers who will attend. The customers will get special invitations that will enter them in our raffles for an opportunity to win great prizes. Of course, we cannot forget to mention that we will be serving great food cooked on the premises.

Rebel Rents' Customer Appreciation Days, no matter where they're held, are events not to be missed. They are full of fun, and attendees always walk away with great giveaways, from Rebel and its vendor-partners.

So, if you're in the Santa Ana area on March 23rd and would like to check out what Rebel is all about, this is a great opportunity! This is a day you can learn about Rebel's products and services, our partners, and most of all, learn how important our customers are to us. See you there!

December-January Contest

In mid-November of 2006, Rebel launched a contest designed to reach our dormant customers and re-activate their accounts. The contest ended at the end of January of 2007. The big winner of this contest is Joe Negrette of Santee. Joe wins a complimentary overnight getaway, a dinner for two at a local casino of his choice, a plaque recognizing his accomplishment, and induction into the Rebel Eagles Club. The runner ups were Tom Gilroy of San Jacinto, Peggy Megridichian of Santa Ana, Gordon Belanger of Encinitas, and Robert Malsack of Escondido.

Congratulations Joe! And thanks to all for participating in this contest, bringing great results for the present and the future. This Team rocks!

New F550's Have Arrived

Keeping up with our ever changing trasportation needs, Rebel has just added brand new Ford F550 12' stake beds with lift gates to our fleet. These new additions were brought about by our locations out east needing a larger and more powerful delivery vehicles to handle the mountaneous terrain within their vicinity. These new vehicles offer safety and maneuverability to handle these conditions. The rugged super-duty F550 has a 17-500 lbs capacity, which is the highest GVWR in this class vehicle, along with a more powerful 6.0L diesel engine. We are sure that our transportation specialist team will appreciate the features this new model has to offer. Keep on trucking!

Team Encinitas SCORES!

Proud Winners - Team Encinitas
Rebel Rents launched a contest in January to challenge our team members at each store to increase their store's activity. The contest ran from January 10th through February 14th, yielding weekly results. Contest eligibility was narrowed to each store's Assistant Managers and Counter Customer Service Representatives. The contest generated such enthusiasm and excitement at the store level. Team members had such energy, coming up with great ideas. But like all good things, the contest came to its end.

The numbers have been tallied and the winner of the Open Contract Contest has been determined. And the winner is... the Encinitas team of Randy Matsumoto and Ed Moreno. They did such a wonderful job, and worked so hard. Their Store Manager, George McNulty, has the right to be proud of his team. It was a tight race, but they managed to keep their edge and win. Each of them will get a dinner for two and a choice of either a Rebel jacket or Rebel hooded pullover.

To all the team members who worked so hard on this contest, THANK YOU! Let's do it again, Sam!

Every BIT Satisfied with Escondido

Every two years, each of our facilities are inspected by the CHP as required by the Biennial Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program. This program requires all motor carriers operating commercial trucks from terminals located in California to undergo an inspection of each operational terminal to rate their compliance with applicable laws and regulations relating to motor carrier safety.

Just recently, our Escondido branch underwent this very important and intense scrutiny by the CHP, with excellent outcome. The Escondido branch rated satisfactory, which is the best rating given under the program. This is a great team effort by the branch. This is also their second consecutive satisfactory rating in the last four years.

Therefore, a well-deserved CONGRATULATIONS to Jose and his team are in order. Great job rallying the team and coming up with great results!

Last week, St. Jeanne in Temecula held their Career Day in which one of our Service Technicians from the North Temecula participated. Travis Torres shared with the kids, and teachers alike, what Rebel Rents is about and how much fun it is to be part of the Rebel Team. He brought along a skip to show off, and dazzled the kids with colorful Rebel keychains. Rebel always takes pride in helping our kids learn.
