The DT15E Electric Dual Trac Grinder and the new DT11H Gas Dual Trac Grinder are an added feature to our fleet from Target. Both grinders are ideal for grinding or cleaning concrete surfaces, leveling uneven joints, and removing epoxies, high spots, mastics, thin-set and urethanes. Back to School for Rebel Employees

Rebel Rents recently held a training seminar for our service technicians at our Corporate Training Center. New Holland sent their District Service Manager and other members of their company to Rebel headquarters to train our technicians on the New Holland C190 Trackhoe, the New Holland U80 4WD Skip Loader, and the Kobelco 135SR 30,000lb Excavator. Along with hands on demonstrations and training, Rebel employees were treated to an Italian Lunch. These seminars provide our technicians the knowledge and skills they require to keep our equipment in rental ready condition.

Digging for Customer Satisfaction!

The Pilot Program Fleet has expanded with the addition of a new 30,000lb Excavator. The Kobelco 135SR is a short radius excavator with a maximum bucket capacity of .88 cu yd. This new 135SR leads the industry in Productivity and Performance. It features a Isuzu 4-cycle diesel engine with an impressive 94 net horsepower, a 5.1’ tall swing design which provides smoother starts and stops, and more precise bucket placement with a swing shockless valve. Vendor Partnership Award: Multiquip

It is with great pride that we would like to introduce the latest recipient of our Vendor Partnership Recognition Award. Multiquip has been one of our longest-standing vendors and our relationship with them has continued to flourish over the years. District Managers Dan Putnam and James Parker have always been there when needed, whether it be an equipment purchase or for a Customer Appreciation Day. Komatsu Training Day

Rebel Rents recently held a training class at our Corporate Training Center. Road Machinery sent their Service Manager and other members of their office to our site to train our Service Technicians on the Komatsu WA250 Wheel Loader and the P138 Excavator. Both of these machines are new to Rebel Rents through the Pilot Program. Besides excellent information and training, Road Machinery was also kind enough to provide us with a catered lunch by Mr. Fennie's Mobile BBQ. These training classes give our employees the skills they need to keep our equipment rental ready.

Rebel Rents 2006 Company Picnic

The REBEL RENTS Annual Company Picnic will be held at Knott’s Berry Farm on Sunday, August 27, 2006. Employees and their families will be able to enjoy all the attractions the park has to offer from 10am till 10pm. Our company dinner will be held at 5:00 p.m. (Details & tickets to follow.)

This year we have received donations from a number of vendors for our employee raffle. We also have a very special GRAND PRIZE this year which was generously donated to us from one of our Partner Vendors DITCH WITCH. They have given a San Francisco Football Package that includes;

Barbecuing Rebel Style

Rebel Rents El Cajon received their corporate catered lunch on August 8 for winning the first quarter contest this year with a dramatic increase in daily active agreements. The catering was provided by our very own Mike Brown of El Cajon who served a delicious BBQ lunch with all the fixings. Corporate Staff was there to pass out t-shirts, hats, and work gloves to the employees for all their hard work. Rebel Rents prides itself on having the best employees in the business, and we are thrilled that we were able to reward El Cajon for their outstanding work.

CAT Like Reflexes

We are pleased to announce the newest addition to our fleet Pilot Program from CAT. The 938G Series II Wheel Loader provides more power and excellent fuel economy. The 3126B ATAAC engine delivers net power of 160hp and meets EPA Tier 2 emissions standards. The 938G features a 4 yard maximum bucket capacity and is the ultimate in wheel loader operator comfort and efficiency. Load sensing steering directs power through the steering system only when needed, allowing more engine power to be available to generate rim pull breakout and lift forces. The front window is designed to provide remarkable forward and peripheral viewing, including the machine wheels and bucket corner, while the sloping hood allows excellent visibility to the rear of the machine. At Rebel Rents we believe in providing the equipment needed for a job well done and the CAT 938G is the perfect asset to any job site.

Fleet Addition to Increased Demand

At Rebel Rents we continue to provide our customers with the equipment they need. Due to increased demand we have added additional EDCO FS-8A Electric Carpet and Tile Floor Strippers. The EDCO Floor Stripper operates on 110 Volts and the high speed electric power delivers up to 5,000 rotations per minute. The FS-8A Floor Stripper features an 8” oscillating blade which uses slicing action for faster removal. The screw type angle adjustment makes it easy to set the correct angle of attack for various floor coverings which include; vinyl tiles, linoleum, carpeting, and foam rubber backing. Sawing Away

The new Target PC 18 13H Concrete Walk Behind Saws have arrived! These Saws are the newest addition to our Concrete and Masonry Preparation Line. The Walk Behind Saws are equipped to handle up to an 18” blade for maximum cutting ability. The PC 18 13H features a one-piece steel frame design, which reduces vibration to the blade and increases sawing production. An additional benefit to this saw is that it has a positive screw feed which raises and lowers the blade quickly and easily, allowing greater control of cutting depth. Additional features of this saw include; a heavy-duty cyclone air filter, and a braced hand base for added strength.
