Schools Out! The Rebel Team Passed with Flying Colors
A few weeks ago we set out to conduct company wide safety training sessions at all Rebel locations. We want to thank all the team members who participated in these meetings which lasted nearly 4 hours. The participation by everyone was excellent and increased the benefits. The more experienced team members shared their own safety tips that they had learned while on the job with others. Also, some great safety suggestions were made and are now being put into practice company wide, one being additional safety equipment that will now be carried on every company delivery vehicle. The purpose of these safety meetings was not only about safety but for the well being of our team members. To back up this claim, in the last meeting one of our long term employees from our Encinitas branch, came up and thanked us for thinking about their personal safety. We would like to thank Dana Mitry, our Marketing Assistant, for her behind the scenes help in putting together this safety program. All team members who attended will receive a certificate of completion.Wednesday, December 14, 2005
Welcome to the Rebel Reward Zone
We believe Rebel Rents is a premier employer in Southern California. We continually try new ideas to set ourselves apart from the competition. In continuing with that committment, we are pleased to introduce a new program for our Territory Sales Managers - the Rebel Reward Zone. The Rebel Reward Zone is set up in the same respect as a frequent flier program. You will earn points for your rental revenue dollars. These points can then be redeemed at our Rebel Reward Zone Sales Shop for wonderful electronics and golf-related items. Every Territory Manager should have received a package at their home with detailed information on the program. The Rebel Reward Zone kicks off January 1, 2006. Good luck to everyone!Monday, December 12, 2005
2nd Annual Rebel Rents Golf Outing
On Friday, Dec. 9, Rebel Rents held our second annual Golf Outing for our Territory Sales Representatives at Temeku Hills Golf Course in Temecula. We met for lunch beforehand where Doug Fleury, our Marketing Manager, reviewed the great year we had and celebrated our successes. Each sales representative had the opportunity to share with the group an idea or tip they had that contributed to their success that year. The ideas were great! Of course, with any golf outing, we have some winners to announce. George McNulty had closest to the pin and longest drive on holes 4 and 9. George Aguilar had the longest drive on hole 13 and Matt Megrdichian had the closest to the pin on hole 16. The overwall winners were the foursome of Doug Fleury, George McNulty, Peggy Megrdichian, and John Strom. This great event could not have happened without Peggy who put the whole thing together for everyone to enjoy, including great prizes and a fun raffle!
