Congratulations Santa Ana
We would like to congratulate the Santa Ana Rental Team on their August revenue numbers. They had the largest increase of all our locations this August over last August's numbers. For this extraordinary accomplishment they were presented with a plaque today and inducted into the Rebel Rental Team Hall of Fame. Chris Dalsimer and his rental team should certainly be proud of this great achievement, as we all should be. Keep up the great work!Friday, September 23, 2005
Multiquip Tech Training Class
Orv Schindler, the Southwest Field Service Manager with Multiquip, conducted a service training school at Rebel's Training Facility in Temecula. The training focused on Multiquip's Nighthawk LT-12 Light Towers. The training included light tower setup, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. The class was attended by the service techs from all our locations. This type of training is valuable in keeping our equipment in top condition and rental ready. Our customers depend on Rebel Rents to deliver them the best equipment each and every time!Monday, September 19, 2005
Equipment Recovery and Theft Ring Busted
Recently one of our customers contacted our Mira Loma location regarding a John Deere Skip Loader that had gone missing from their jobsite. These units are equipped with an Ayantra GPS tracking system. After pinging the unit, we were able to determine the last location of the unit. With great detective work and team effort on the part of the Branch Manager Scott Miller, Territory Manager Dan James and Dana Mitry from the office, we were able to track down and recover our unit. The police were notified and arrested a local theft ring that preyed on construction sites in the Hesperia area. Not only did we recover our equipment, other stolen equipment was recovered as well. This is a reminder that we must remain vigilant to prevent these types of thefts in the future.Friday, September 16, 2005
Casper Customer Appreciation Day
Rebel held a Customer Appreciation Day at the office of Casper Company on Thursday. We provided a barbecue lunch with all the fixin's for the employees. The El Cajon and Santee staff, along with the Territory Managers from the area, did all the cooking. It was a great day and enjoyed by everybody. Along with lunch, each Casper employee received a Rebel t-shirt and a safety kit. We also gave Casper a Customer Partnership Recognition Award to thank them for their continued service.Tuesday, September 13, 2005
Rebel Picnic a Huge Success!
If you were lucky enough to attend then you know what a huge success Rebel Rents' Company Picnic was! Over 200 employees and their families were on hand to watch the Lake Elsinore Storm win their opening playoff game. Before the game everyone met for a BBQ dinner. Rebel shirts with Digger holding a baseball bat were given out to the adults. We raffled off a number of great prizes including t-shirts, hats, gift certificates and portable DVD players. The grand prize winner of the trip to San Francisco to watch the 49ers play the Cowboys was won by Winston Ferguson of Mira Loma! Congratulations Winston! We want to take the time to thank those who made this day possible. Thank you to Jill Widtfeldt who organized the entire event and made sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you also to Sue Hope, Denise Vaughn, Sharon Desuacido, Doug Fleury, Brett Guigneaux, John Benson, Linda Benson, Susie Slavey and all the employees who attended. It will be hard to top next year but we'll give it our best shot!
Winston Ferguson of Mira Loma holds up his Grand Prize provided by Ditch Witch. They have been recently awarded our Vendor Partnership Recognition Award.

New Fleet Announcement
Rebel Rents is proud to announce that we've brought Manitou of North America on as a new vendor partner. We have just added their line of construction telescopic handlers to our fleet. The MT 523 is a compact reach forklift designed for big performance in a small package. Its small size combined with a 5,000 pound capacity and a 16'2" lift height makes it possible to use a telescopic handler in areas not accessible by larger machines. The MT 523 features a spacious operator's compartment, 54 HP diesel engine and hydrostatic transmission to ensure customer comfort and ease of operation. These additions to our fleet are in direct response to our customers requests.www.manitou-na.com
